Step-by-step guide to integrating your essential recruitment tools with Wintro.

As a recruiter, connecting your essential systems to Wintro is the first major step in leveraging our AI-powered employee referral platform. Here’s how you connect LinkedIn, your Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and the chat platform your colleagues already use.

LinkedIn Connection

Your LinkedIn account is connected during recruiter onboarding. When you sign in for the first time, Wintro walks you through linking your profile and choosing a subscription. If you have LinkedIn Premium or Recruiter, you’ll also be prompted to install the Wintro Companion extension. On the LinkedIn step, click Connect LinkedIn to log in through LinkedIn’s official login page. This enables the core functionality of syncing professional networks.

After your LinkedIn is connected, the Wintro Companion browser extension can optionally be installed. It adds features like Auto Sync of employee networks and works best alongside LinkedIn Premium or Recruiter.

ATS Integration

To link your Applicant Tracking System, visit the Integrations settings page. You’ll see tiles for every ATS we support, including Lever, Recruitee, Teamtailor, Workable, Greenhouse, Workday, and SAP SuccessFactors.

ATS setup isn’t self-serve. The tiles show you what’s available, but the initial connection is always handled by our team. Reach out to support@wintro.ai and we’ll get your ATS wired up. If your ATS isn’t listed, let us know anyway; we may be able to add it.

Once your ATS is connected, open the Vacancies tab and click Sync {ATS} Vacancies (for example, Sync Lever Vacancies) to pull your job listings into Wintro. This can take a few minutes depending on how many vacancies you have. Syncing your ATS is recommended for a fully integrated workflow, but you can always add vacancies manually.

Chat System Setup

Connect your team’s chat platform so you can nudge colleagues directly from Wintro. We support Slack and Microsoft Teams, and both can be connected at the same time. Messages are sent from you to your colleagues inside their chat platform, so replies come back to you directly.

If a colleague hasn’t connected a chat platform, Wintro falls back to email from no-reply@wintro.ai. Chat messages typically get faster responses than email, so connecting at least one chat system is recommended.

With your systems connected, you’re ready to invite colleagues and start finding referral matches in their networks.
